Entrances can be very inviting. In the Chronicles of Narnia, you know the kids have to go through the doorway in the wardrobe to the other side to see what is there. This image made me think also of Dr. Faustus inviting the devil across the threshold three times and thereby sealing his destiny. This may be both Entry and Mystery principles together. Perhaps it is the curiosity and danger working in tangent? Or maybe the welcoming nature of society? Entry does start me thinking about how others see the garden space. I want to welcome friends and keep out those teens who keep throwing beer bottles in the front yard. Entry is still a principle I'm working on in our garden. (Photo Ashford Castle Ireland)
