Garden Topics - BBC Gardens Illustrated

After 12 years in the Honda Civic, I finally bought a new car, the Scion xD. What does this have to do with gardening? Besides the new room to haul mulch, the Ipod connection lets me listen to music and podcasts every day on my 30 minute drive out of town to work. The podcasts can be heard through the webpage or just on the Ipod but because of the new technology in the car is when I find myself listening. And listening to the BBC Gardens Illustrated magazine podcast. Leave it to the British to take gardening from the sublime to the ridiculous in various podcasts. From lectures on artistic values and debates on gender differences, you can catch it there. I'm finding much to think about involving gardening, history, culture, sociology.
