Starting about six weeks ago, the plant porn started arriving in the mailbox. So many catalogues of flirty buds, fleshy leaves, botanical sex organs on display. I figure some Dutch bulb company will come out with a centerfold one of these days. I'm trying some seeds of Green Wizard rudbeckia and dianthus pinks this year spring from Thompson & Morgan who has a distributor in New Jersey. Also, adding some annual Key Lime sunflowers and double Cosmos to the back of the border when the weather breaks. Hope this works.
I'm now subscribed to the English Garden magazine and am soaking up all the great photography and tips even if the landscape is a bit different in our heavy clay, stone-laden plot. Still, I am inspired by the lushness of the plantings.

You... wow. I love this blog. I will never look at a seed catalog the same way ever again. Thinking about gardening makes me feel so dirty and excited at the same time now!
