This is the newest plant that just had to come home with me - a scotch broom. Although there is a variety that is found on the West Coast that is invasive and seems to lead to brush fires, this is the other one. It started upright but as it blooms, the heaviness brings the long branches down creating a fountain shape. The flowers remind of little sweet peas. I just put it in a few weeks ago so we'll see how it overwinters. So far, it is quite the show.
Also, these daffodils, "Cheerfulness"
certainly do brighten up the view outside.
