Animal House

A few critters from the backyard. The honeybees are out now and buzzing around everything. The butterflies are fluttering around the coneflowers and making a bright display. The toad here was under the raspberry bush. The husband asked me to come over to look at the bush while I was weeding just to hear me scream when the toad jumped back into the foliage. I thought toads needed water but I was corrected that just frogs need to live in the water. This little guy was out last summer too and I hope he is eating all of those beetles that have just started to emerge.
